Nova Scotia – southern region trip

I took a four day trip from PEI to Nova Scotia that was some of the best winding road conditions I have been on.  The maps below show spots that I particularly liked.

DAY 1 MAP – I stayed overnight at Blomidon Provincial Park.

This section is particularly fun because of the windy roads and tight turns. And when you get to the park, there is an amazing tight steep switchback road into the park!

DAY 2 MAP – I stayed overnight at Kejimkujik National Park and National Historic Site.

DAY 3 MAP – I stayed overnight in Chester in the only Bed and Breakfast in Chester, NS – Mecklenburgh Inn. Nice inn, nice lady who runs it.

I traveled this section of road in Lunenburg three times.  It was a particularly nice bit of windy road. And when you reach the crest of the hill there is a beautiful view of Lunenburg!

DAY 4 MAP – made the ferry to PEI with time to spare. HWY 14 was another fun stretch of road but not many places to stop for fuel or food in that area so bring snacks.
